How to sign up for the patient portal?

MyUTHealth is an easy, secure way of managing your health care at UTHealth and UT Physicians. With MyUTHealth, you are able to access your medical information from your personal computer or mobile device, 24/7. UT Health Austin’s MyUTHA Patient Portal is your secure, online connection to portions of your UT Health Austin electronic medical record. Through your personal MyUTHA Patient Portal account, you can view your patient summaries, lab results, and immunization records as well as contact your care team, manage your appointments, and more.

UT Health Austin is housed in the Health Transformation Building (HTB). The HTB is located in downtown Austin, TX on The University of Texas at Austin campus and neighbors the Dell Medical School research and learning buildings as well as the Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas.

How long does a UtHealth activation code last?

For your security, your activation code expires after 14 days and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. If you still have problems, please email us at helpdesk@myuthealth.org or call 855-316-4256.

Where does myUTHealth come from?

Your MyUTHealth information comes directly from your electronic medical record at your doctor’s office. Ask your doctor to correct any inaccurate information at your next clinic visit. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic medical record each visit.

Is MyUTHealth a federal company?

MyUTHealth is owned and operated by UTHealth and is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and email address is treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by MyUTHealth.
