If you're having any kind of complicated or scary health related issue, I would definitely not recommend Dr. Tenthoff. She does not seem to be very knowledgeable of what diagnostic tests or steps should be ran. She also lacks self-awareness when she is out of her depth and fails to refer patients to a specialist when necessary.

What age do you have to be to disclose medical information?

For Patients Who Are Minors: Due to federal and state confidentiality laws, patients who are between the ages of 14 and 17 are not required to disclose certain types of medical information to parents/legal guardians.

Can a parent/guardian be a portal authorized representative?

For this reason, we find it necessary to ask our patients in this age group to complete a consent form naming a parent/guardian as their portal authorized representative.
