Where is Ivy from?

Ivy is a native to North Carolina – a rarity these days! After spending her formative years in Charlotte, she earned degrees in Biology and Clinical Laboratory Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. After graduating, Ivy worked as a Medical Technologist at UNC Hospitals for 3+ years. Spending time behind the microscope made Ivy realize that she wanted to be on the other side of patient care, and she returned to school at East Carolina University, earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During her time in PA school, she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, as well as spent time in Belize for an international Family Medicine rotation. Her path also crossed with Dr. Young and Ken Lake while she interned with them as a student. After graduation in 2013, Ivy joined the Western Wake Wellness family and has been a part ever since.
