The HealtheLife Patient Portal (formerly known as IQHealth) allows you to easily access lab and test results in your electronic medical record. MyChart lets you access your health information, upcoming appointments, test results, medical bills, price estimates and more all in one place – even if you’ve been treated at multiple health organizations.
To enroll in MyChart, ask a UT Southwestern provider during a visit. Our staff can help patients enroll, as well as set up authorizations to release lab results and respond to prescription renewal requests through MyChart.

All new patients (18 years and older) to UT Southwestern will be automatically enrolled. If you are a patient and currently not using MyChart but wish to, simple contact your provider's clinic and they will enroll you.
Your MyChart information comes directly from your electronic medical record at your doctor's office. Ask your doctor to correct any inaccurate information at your next clinic visit. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic medical record each visit. Patients can also request to amendments to their medical record by contacting the UT Southwestern Health Information Management Office at 214-645-3030.

We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal usernames, and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Unlike conventional email, all MyUTHealth messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.
You will generally receive an answer within 1-3 business days. Please note MyUTHealth should not be used for urgent situations. For medical emergencies requiring immediate attention, please dial 911 or go to the nearest medical facilty.
MyUTHealth can send reminders for preventive care, test results, statements, payment reminder and others. Patients may adjust their notification settings. UTHealth does not have an integrated pharmacy that dispenses medications, so refill due messages will not be available.
