How do I Opt Out of the UMass student health insurance?

Submit the waiver by September 19 to opt out of the UMass Student health insurance. Due to the high volume of waivers received at this time, processing is taking longer than usual. Wellfleet and the UHS Patient Services team are working hard to get these processed as quickly as possible.

What if I don't have a UMass netid (Hampshire College community)?

Users who do not have a UMass NetID (i.e., Hampshire College community) will need to create an account, or log in with their existing credentials. When I try to register for the UMass Patient Portal, why does it tell me I'm not active?

Does the health center respond to patient portal messages?

You should not expect to receive a response to a Patient Portal message on weekends, holidays, or any other time the Health Center is closed. If you need immediate medical advice when the Health Center is closed, call our main number (413-542-2267) and follow the prompts to speak with an advice nurse.
