COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

All University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus, employees, students and spouses can schedule their COVID-19 vaccine appointments on-campus. Although not required, the university strongly recommends getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

COVID-19 Testing Appointments

Pat Walker Health Center offers on-campus COVID-19 testing for university students and employees five days a week by a ppointment only.

University of Arkansas enrolled students and active employees are eligible to schedule medical services at Pat Walker Health Center. Students must provide their current UARK ID when checking in for an appointment.

The AIT Clinic assists students with required immunizations, TB testing and other screenings required by graduate programs or clinical assignments. As public health advocates, we partner closely with county, state and national health departments to prevent the spread of disease through education and advocacy.

Does Pat Walker Health Center have orthopedic specialists?

While the Pat Walker Health Center primary care medical providers treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions, your provider may refer you to our orthopedic specialist. The student health fee supports this service.

Does Pat Walker have an emotional support animal?

We understand the value of having an animal, however, Pat Walker Health Center is unable to diagnose a specific mental health disability for the purpose of obtaining an Emotional Support Animal (ESA).

Medical Services

Medical office visit charges will be billed to your insurance carrier unless you tell us not to at the time of service. You are responsible for your co-payment as designated by your insurance carrier.

Counseling Services

If you receive services at CAPS that incur a charge, these charges will be billed to your student account unless you choose an alternate form of payment at the time of service. You may request a receipt for psychiatric services at the time of your appointment if you choose to file a self-claim with your insurance company.

Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations

Charges apply for missed appointments or appointments not canceled at least two (2) hours in advance for the medical clinics and by 4:30pm the day prior for counseling/psychiatry services.

Payment Options

The health center cashier can accept payment by cash, check, RazorBucks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Charges can also be applied to your student UAConnect account.

Student Health Fee

The University of Arkansas requires all enrolled students to pay a mandatory health fee of $7.25 per credit hour. This fee enables the health center to provide high-quality, accessible health care and primary prevention services for the campus community.
