While the Pat Walker Health Center primary care medical providers treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions, your provider may refer you to our orthopedic specialist. The student health fee supports this service.
We understand the value of having an animal, however, Pat Walker Health Center is unable to diagnose a specific mental health disability for the purpose of obtaining an Emotional Support Animal (ESA).
Charges apply for missed appointments or appointments not canceled at least two (2) hours in advance for the medical clinics and by 4:30pm the day prior for counseling/psychiatry services.
Patients are financially responsible for all charges incurred during each visit, whether covered by insurance or not. Your insurance company may determine that some, or all of the charges incurred at the health center are not covered by your policy or should be applied to your deductible.
Insurance & Billing for Medical Services. The health center can file claims with most health insurance plans. If you do not want the health center to file with your insurance provider, let us know at the time of your appointment.
Medical office visit charges will be billed to your insurance carrier unless you tell us not to at the time of service. You are responsible for your co-payment as designated by your insurance carrier.
