Visitors are welcome at Tri Valley Health System whenever the visits will benefit the patient. We encourage visitors of all ages. We believe family involvement in patient care provides the best healing experience. We do ask, however, that for consideration for all patients, your visitors limit the length of their stay and the noise level. If your visitors are suffering from a cold or the flu, ask them to call you on the phone in your room and have them wait to visit until they are feeling better. Tri Valley Health System will respect your right to limit visits accordingly.#N#For the safety of all patients and our staff the entrances to Cambridge Memorial Hospital are locked overnight. The night entrance by the Physical Therapy Department does have a call button to alert nurses when someone is at the door and would like to come in. Please understand that you, your family or your healthcare provider may request restriction of visitors, mail, phone calls or other communication.
The new nurse call system sends alerts and patient calls directly to nurse cell phones eliminating the noise of a traditional alarm. For example, if a patient’s vitals become low, an alarm will be sent to the mobile phones carried by the nurses.
The providers at TriValley Primary Care support the health professionals of the CDC and Pa Dept of Health by encouraging patients to receive the COVID-19 vaccine when available for each segment of our population. As we receive more information, we will inform our patients on the best way to receive the vaccine.
The physicians of TriValley Primary Care believe preventive medicine is the foundation for good health. We encourage all of our patients to schedule an annual wellness visit, age-appropriate screening exams, and immunizations. Ask your TriValley Primary Care physician about your preventive wellness needs at your next appointment.
