Elizabeth Morgan, PA-C graduated from Wake Forest University in 2000 and has worked in the Raleigh area since then. Elizabeth started her career in internal medicine but found her passion in general psychiatry. Recently, she started a doctoral program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions to obtain her DMSc with a concentration in psychiatry. She has experience treating a variety of psychiatric disorders, with special interest in anxiety and mood disorders, depression, and trauma. Elizabeth has a collaborative approach to patient care taking into consideration the needs of each patient as an individual.
In late May, Governor Cooper signed House Bill 395 - an extension to connect to the NC Health Information Exchange (NCHIE). The new deadline for psychiatrists who treat patients insured by the State Health Plan, Medicaid, and/or NC Health Choice to connect is now January 1, 2023. (The previous deadline was June 1, 2021.)
