What are patient portals?

Porter Medical Center’s Patient Portals are online tools that help you to manage your healthcare easily and securely, allowing you to view your personal health record whenever and where ever you have access to the intranet. Porter has two separate patient portals that you can access, depending on the service you are using:

How do I sign up for the Porter Hospital portal?

The FIRST STEP is to sign up for the Portal at your local provider office or Porter Hospital. (Due to HIPAA requirements, you must sign up in person) Once the Portal is activated, you will log on using the the “Hospital Portal” link above. Then, simply enter your user name and password.

How do I pay a porter physician Bill online?

A Porter Physician bill dated on or before November 8, 2019 or a Hospital bill with any date, you can pay it online: https://PatientPortal.PorterMedical.org NOTE: You will be able to pay Hospital bills in MyChart in November 2021.
