Early arrival testing is required for all unvaccinated, exempt students. These students are expected to report for testing before moving into their residence halls and/or attending classes. Early arrival testing is completed at the University Testing Center.
Surveillance testing involves testing people from across campus to identify asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic individuals and help avert potential outbreaks before they occur.
Symptomatic testing involves testing those who are showing symptoms of COVID-19. All members of the Notre Dame community who experience a high fever, difficulty, breathing, loss of taste or smell are encouraged to promptly seek a COVID-19 test.
