What are the rights of every patient?

Every patient has the right to receive treatment without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, gender expression or disability , in addition to other important rights.

What does it mean when you are discharged from a hospital?

Remember, being discharged doesn’t necessarily mean that you are completely well—it only means that you no longer need hospital services. If you disagree, you or your representative can appeal the doctor’s decision.
