How do I find a patient portal for military hospitals?

Visit their website here: >>Military Hospitals and Clinics Once there, click “Patient Portal” in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. You’ll be directed to the correct portal, either TOL or MHS GENESIS.

How long does it take to create a portal account for UHS?

If you plan to visit UHS in person, or if you recently visited: Follow instructions printed for you at check-out. Create your account within 30 days after receiving instructions.

How to get my MRN number?

Get your medical record number (MRN) and activation code by calling the Patient Portal Help Desk at 734-615-0872 (7:30 am - 4 pm). Then create your account at MyUofMHealth.org by clicking the blue "Sign Up Now" button.

Can you cancel an appointment with an established provider?

Request an appointment, view and cancel appointments, or self- schedule with an established provider (a provider you have seen before in the same clinic, e.g. Medical Clinic or Gynecology and Sexual Health Clinic)

Do you have to be registered in the UHS electronic health record?

For all others: You must be registered as a patient in the UHS electronic health record (MiChart) in order to create a portal account.

Interpreter and Translation Services

For Our Non-English Speaking Patients: Telephonic foreign language interpretation is available for those patients whose first language is not English.

Who provides FollowMyHealth?

FollowMyHealth ® is provided by Allscripts LLC. Allscripts is responsible for the portal's operation and security, and Allscripts' terms-of-use govern the use of the portal. Whether or not you sign up for a FollowMyHealth® portal, it not will not impact your care at the Clinical Center and you can always request your medical records directly from the Clinical Center's Health Information Management Department. If you sign up for and/or use the portal, you are giving NIH permission to share portions of your updated medical record (in identifiable form) with Allscripts to populate your FollowMyHealth® portal account.
