This means that students should call to schedule appointments and not simply drop by. The phone number is 651-696-6275. Do not email for an appointment request. Appointments with medical and counseling providers are still being offered.
There is no charge for most visits to see a medical provider. Physicals that require paperwork (study away, employment, athletic, pre-operative, for example) are an exception. Additionally, there is sometimes a charge for labs, procedures, and immunizations. See the Insurance and Billing for more on this topic.

Macalester College has established immunization requirements for its students to maintain the health and safety of our community. These requirements must be met for the student to attend classes, per the Macalester student handbook.
A statement from a medical professional is required as documentation and is subject to review by the Hamre Center Medical Director. As of June 25, 2021, we will not accept evidence of natural immunity to COVID (SARS-CoV-2) via an antibody test.
