The Hospital District is governed by five elected board members who oversee hospital assets. On November 1, 1983, the Hospital District leased the hospital and equipment to Kingman Healthcare Inc. – a local non-profit organization consisting of thirteen board members.

KINGMAN – Mohave County appears to have recorded its first case of monkeypox. The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and the Arizona Department of Health Services reported Tuesday a “presumptive positive case” of monkeypox in a Mohave County resident.

Level 1 Trauma Centers provide the highest level of trauma care to critically ill or injured patients. Seriously injured patients have an increased survival rate of 25% in comparison to those not treated at a Level 1 center.
Trauma Department Valleywise Health Medical Center is the only hospital in Maricopa County verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) to provide adult (Level I) and pediatric (Level II) trauma care.
