Dr. Enis grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and graduated Summa Cum Laude as the top graduate in the Arts and Sciences from Southern Methodist University. He went on to pursue combined M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at Yale University School of Medicine. After graduating in 2006, he moved to Boston for a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He then completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, immediately after which he obtained his board certification from the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Enis remained at the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the Dermatology faculty for four years before joining Pennsylvania Dermatology Group. In addition to his own clinical practice at U. Penn, Dr. Enis was also involved in teaching residents and medical students. He has done groundbreaking research on signaling pathways in development and function of the lymphatic system, work that will increase our understanding of many areas of skin disease and cancer metastasis.
