A: When she turns 13 your proxy access will be reduced to secure messaging only. You’ll be able to communicate with your child’s health care team about questions and results that are not covered by privacy regulations.

Can a teen have a proxy?

A: Proxy access will be terminated. If they’d like, your teen can invite you by signing a consent form to have a proxy as an adult. Proxy access for adults allows the proxy to view the entire portal.

To access the brochures, go to your previous appointment list: Click on the "Appt. Scheduling" tab, choose "View Appts.", then click on the "Previous" tab.

How to view lab results on Student Health?

Your Student Health provider may choose to post lab results to the Web Portal. Ask your provider which labs can be viewed. To view approved lab results, sign in to the Web Portal and click on "My Profile".

How to send a brochure to a patient?

During your clinic visit, your medical provider may send specific patient health brochures to you via the Portal. To access the brochures, go to your previous appointment list: 1 Click on the "Appt. Scheduling" tab, choose "View Appts.", then click on the "Previous" tab. 2 The brochures will be attached to the associated appointment under the "Documents" column on the far right.

What is secure messaging?

Access secure messaging. Secure messaging is the primary way Student Health providers will communicate with you outside of clinic. Please do not ignore these messages as they often contain important health information.

Is email secure for student health?

Secure messaging through the Web Portal is the primary means by which Student Health providers contact their patients. Email contact is not considered secure and private. When a secure message has been sent, you will be notified by text and/or email to check your messages.

Two Stars

Lady at the front desk in Emergency department was rude and ghetto. It's not what you say but HOW you say it. No need for rocking of the neck, wide eyes and rude tone while addressing questions, concerns and explaing visitor policy to visitors.

Head Nurse

On Tuesday July 20th 2021 I experienced a nightmare in the ER first my son and I sat in the ER for more than 7 hours, when we finally got to the back the nurse that attended my son walked into the room with a very disturbing look so noticeable that I asked her what was wrong, she thew the uno on the bed and told my son to pee in it the experience was so awful that I had to be atmitted to the hospital myself.

4 day stay-Back Surgery

I recently had lower back surgery L-4-L-5 Fusion. I have to say that attention to detail /general care and facilities lacked . I was in great pain post surgery and anyone that has had back surgery knows that being in a position of comfort takes time as bascially you cant move.

Trauma team is the best!

The staff on the trauma team are highly skilled and qualified to provide the best care possible! We are truly grateful to have such amazing doctors and nurses in all of VCU Medical Center right here in Richmond!
