How do I become a volunteer with elica health?

Volunteer applications and other related documents are available online, from the front desk at any of our eleven health center locations or mobile clinics. You can complete the application online and return it to us via email at workforcedevelopment@elicahealth.org. To begin the process, please check our Volunteer page and fill out an application.

Can I view my lab results in the patient portal?

Currently, diagnosis, medications, lab and results, etc. are able to be viewed if you have a provider in the Excela Health Medical Group. Elica offers primary and preventive health care visits, lab services, dental care, mental health services, podiatric care and case management, all of which are conveniently located, coordinated and tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

One Stop Shop

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Elica is an integral part of the regional health safety net. It serves as a “one stop shop” that provides a range of clinical, outreach and social assistance services to eligible individuals in Sacramento and its surrounding communities, regardless of ability to pay.

What is the purpose of FQHC?

The main purpose of the FQHC program is to enhance the delivery of primary care services in underserved urban and rural areas; therefore, as an FQHC, primary health care with an emphasis on wellness and preventive medicine is central to our mission at Elica Health Centers.

Does Elica have a referral program?

Should someone require specialty care, Elica has an active referral program, which includes long-standing arrangements with many local specialty care providers, ranging from oncologists, cardiologists and neurologists to orthopedists, dermatologists, immunologists and more.
