GLFHC accepts the following insurance plans: AllWays Health Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boston Medical, Celticare, Fallon Harvard, Evercare, Health Safety Net, MassHealth, Medicare, Tufts (Commercial), United Health, Senior Whole Health, Children’s Medical Security; however, GLFHC will work with patients who don’t have insurance to help them enroll in insurance programs. Referrals can be faxed to (978) 922-5904 before the time of your visit. If we do not have a referral in place at the time of your visit, you will be responsible for the self-pay fee or rescheduling your appointment. If you need help with your referral, please let us know. We know it’s confusing and we would be glad to help you.
We accept most major insurance for telehealth services. If you’re uninsured or prefer not to use your insurance, telehealth appointments cost $40 per visit with additional charges for lab testing.
If possible, bring the bottles to your appointment. Telling your clinician about any changes in your condition or reactions to medications or treatment.
Providing staff with correct and complete name, address, telephone and emergency contact information each time you see your clinician so we can reach you in the event of a schedule change or to give medical instructions.
Keeping your appointments. If you must cancel your appointment, please call the health center at least 24 hours in advance. Paying copayments at the time of the visit or other bills upon receipt. Following the office’s rules about patient conduct; for example, there is no smoking in our office.
Our goal is to provide you with exceptional access and customer service. We accept most major insurances, including MassHealth, and offer financial assistance for self-pay patients. We offer in-clinic or telehealth appointments, online scheduling, and a patient portal where you can access test results and communicate with your provider.
