The My HealthPoint patient portal, offered by Castleview, is a convenient, secure health management tool you can use anywhere you have access to the Internet. It provides access to important information about you and your visit (s) to our hospital.
Castleview Hospital serves Carbon and Emery counties and the surrounding area with inpatient and outpatient services at its 39-bed facility and physician practices. The hospital also includes Emery Medical Center – a family practice and urgent care clinic in Castle Dale, Utah and an Urgent Care in Price, UT.
At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records.
All discharged patients who supply a valid email address will receive an electronic invitation from the hospital and a link to register online for the Patient Portal shortly after discharge.

Patients may pre-admit once admission has been scheduled. Admissions are processed via the registration clerks in the front lobby. After hours admissions are processed at the registration desk in the Emergency Department.
You will need to bring a small number of personal items to the hospital, such as pajamas, robe, slippers, and personal toilet articles including cases for glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids and dentures. If you don’t have these items, we can provide them for you.
Do not bring watches, jewelry, cash or other valuables to the hospital. Castleview Hospital will only be responsible for these items if they are deposited into our safe. Ask your nurse about safe deposits upon admission. If you bring your personal medications with you, you will need to give them to your nurse to be stored until your discharge.
The cafeteria, located towards the front of Castleview Hospital, is open to visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. On weekends and holidays we provide breakfast and lunch. The hours are:
Closed caption television is available to all patients with TV’s in their rooms. Please contact the nurse’s station for instructions to change the settings on your television to closed captioning. We also have two patient education channels: 60 and 61
When you are medically ready to leave the hospital, your physician will write a discharge order on your medical chart. Your nurses and your physician will discuss discharge information with you, including special diets, medications and limitations on your activities. You will be given written discharge instructions for reference after discharge.
