What is the phone number for Patient Portal?

Where is the ATM located in the hospital?

ATM: For your convenience, an automated teller machine (ATM) is located in the hospital's main lobby. Vending Machines: Vending machines offering beverages and snacks are located in the Cafeteria as well as in ICU and ED waiting areas. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Can a patient with a disability be accompanied by a designated support person?

However, such designated support person may be required to comply with all reasonable requirements of our facility, and be restricted to specific areas of the premises, to protect health and safety. Our facility may request documentation indicating that a patient has a disability or perform an objective assessment if no documentation is provided.

What is radiation therapy?

Radiation therapy is a treatment used for many types of cancer. In radiation therapy, intense beams of light – such as X-ray – kill cancerous cells and tumors. The goal of radiation therapy is to kill as few healthy cells as possible.

Can you get radiation therapy before surgery?

Your cancer care specialist may use radiation therapy as part of your cancer treatment. Over half of people with cancer undergo radiation therapy at some point during their treatment. You may undergo radiation therapy before or after surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.

How long does radiation therapy last?

Duration of radiation therapy. Each treatment session takes about 10 to 30 minutes. Though you’ll have to lie still during the treatment, you shouldn’t feel any pain during the radiation therapy session. Most people receive radiation at an outpatient facility for about five days a week for a certain period of time.
