Proxy/Family Access MyChart offers the option of designating a proxy to be granted access to your MyChart account ("Family Access"). Individuals who have been designated as a proxy/Family Access user must use their own unique credentials to access MyChart; proxies are prohibited from using the patient’s MyChart credentials or otherwise impersonating the patient. It is intended to enhance and supplement your patient experience and your role in managing your own health, but it should not eliminate ongoing healthcare or wellness activities, such as regular office visits/check-ups with your provider (s). You should not stop or change any course of treatment recommended by your provider without first consulting him/her.
