Your patient portal is included at no extra cost with your TherapyNotes™ subscription. All of our streamlined patient portal features are optional to fit the needs and workflow of your practice.
Click the User Icon > Settings > Client Portal and select Enable your TherapyPortal.com client portal. If you've uploaded a logo to TherapyNotes, your practice logo will be featured on your portal automatically. Configure exactly how you want your client portal to work using the options in your Client Portal settings.
TherapyPortal.com is a patient portal, allowing patients to join telehealth sessions, manage appointments, receive appointment reminders, receive documents, and complete paperwork.

The TherapyNotes™ Telehealth beta program is now open to all users! Practice Administrators can enable TherapyNotes™ Telehealth for all clinicians in your practice. Simply click the User Icon > Settings > Telehealth and select the Enable telehealth checkbox.

Easily invite your clients to create a secure account with your portal by sending them a welcome email from the Portal tab of their chart. Clients can access their account using the email address they have on file in TherapyNotes, their date of birth, and a secure password that they create.
Any appointment requested by a client on TherapyPortal automatically shows up in your TherapyNotes account for you to approve or deny. Requests that are pending your approval will appear right on your To-Do list.
If you participate in our telehealth beta program, you and your client can start a telehealth session for any appointment you have scheduled with the client in TherapyNotes. With TherapyNotes Telehealth, you can meet clients where they are using reliable, remote video technology with end-to-end encryption.
Electronically send documents that you've uploaded to your Document Library and add client-specific files to include in document requests. Send anything from homework to informative diagrams for your clients to review at their leisure.
Whenever a client completes your request by signing a document, uploading a document, or submitting a form, you'll automatically receive a reminder on your To-Do list to Process portal document responses.

Managing a practice comes with plenty of paperwork that can keep you out of session. With features like simple electronic claim submission and assisted ERA payment posting, you'll have fewer data entry errors and less tedious paperwork.
In order for visitors to your client portal to schedule and manage appointments, you must make clinicians in your practice available for scheduling on your client portal. Clinicians who are available for scheduling on the portal must have a work schedule set up.
You choose how your current and potential clients can schedule appointments online and if your client portal can be used for sharing documents with clients. When you upload documents to share, you can decide whether the documents need to be electronically signed, completed and sent back to your practice, or simply reviewed.
TherapyPortal features a variety of configurable settings to help your client portal fit your practice's brand and style.
Once your client portal is ready to go, click the User Icon > Settings > Client Portal, copy the code provided under Link to Your Client Portal, and paste the code into your website's source code to add a link to your portal to your website.

Telehealth sessions can be started by any clinical user who has an appointment with a patient with a portal account. In order to start a telehealth session for an appointment: 1 The Type must not be Group Therapy, Scheduled Event, or Vacation or Blackout Period. 2 The Patient on the appointment must have a client portal account. 3 The Use TherapyNotes Telehealth checkbox must be selected on the appointment. 4 The appointment has not been marked as Missed or Cancelled.
