Easily invite your clients to create a secure account with your portal by sending them a welcome email from the Portal tab of their chart. Clients can access their account using the email address they have on file in TherapyNotes, their date of birth, and a secure password that they create.

Managing Appointment Requests

Any appointment requested by a client on TherapyPortal automatically shows up in your TherapyNotes account for you to approve or deny. Requests that are pending your approval will appear right on your To-Do list.

Conducting Telehealth Sessions

If you participate in our telehealth beta program, you and your client can start a telehealth session for any appointment you have scheduled with the client in TherapyNotes. With TherapyNotes Telehealth, you can meet clients where they are using reliable, remote video technology with end-to-end encryption.

Sharing Documents, Treatment Plans, and Forms

Electronically send documents that you've uploaded to your Document Library and add client-specific files to include in document requests. Send anything from homework to informative diagrams for your clients to review at their leisure.

Processing Electronic Signatures and Completed Paperwork

Whenever a client completes your request by signing a document, uploading a document, or submitting a form, you'll automatically receive a reminder on your To-Do list to Process portal document responses.

What is managed practice?

Managing a practice comes with plenty of paperwork that can keep you out of session. With features like simple electronic claim submission and assisted ERA payment posting, you'll have fewer data entry errors and less tedious paperwork.

Step 2: Make Staff Available for Appointment Requests

In order for visitors to your client portal to schedule and manage appointments, you must make clinicians in your practice available for scheduling on your client portal. Clinicians who are available for scheduling on the portal must have a work schedule set up.

Step 3: Choose How Clients Use Your Portal

You choose how your current and potential clients can schedule appointments online and if your client portal can be used for sharing documents with clients. When you upload documents to share, you can decide whether the documents need to be electronically signed, completed and sent back to your practice, or simply reviewed.

Step 4: Customize Your Portal

TherapyPortal features a variety of configurable settings to help your client portal fit your practice's brand and style.
