What is MyChart patient portal?

MyChart Patient Portal MyChart is a joint service of Mary Greeley and McFarland Clinic. It offers personalized and secure online access to portions of your medical record. Online Access to Your Health Records

How do I create an account on the Cerner patient portal?

Enter your demographic information, create your account username and password, select and answer a security question, and agree to the Cerner patient portal terms of use and privacy policy and click "Create Account."

What are the benefits of a patient portal account?

By signing up for a patient portal account, you will gain the ability to: Communicate with your provider through secure messaging to ask questions and update information. View your Summary of Visit which will have future appointments, recent labs, visit information, prescribed education, future orders and other information concerning your care.

How do I Register on the MMH portal?

Complete the registration process and set your password. Once registration is complete, information from MMH will automatically be sent to your portal. Your invitation will expire after 90 days so please register quickly after you receive the email invitation.

Vaccines are available for anyone 5+ years old, and boosters are available for 12+. We are providing the Pfizer vaccine unless otherwise noted.

Omicron, the new COVID-19 variant

Omicron is the latest coronavirus variant. The first case of this variant was confirmed on December 1, 2021 in the United States. Omicron has spread extremely fast and has taken over from Delta as the most dominant form of the virus.

COVID-19 Vaccines for Children

The Pfizer vaccine is now approved for children ages 5-11. Mary’s Center has started offering the vaccine and we will expand vaccinations as we receive more doses.

COVID-19 Rapid At-Home Tests

At-home COVID-19 tests are now widely available for free pickup at locations across Washington, DC, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s County.

How do I sign up?

Patients who wish to participate will be issued a MyChart activation code during their hospital or clinic visit. This code will enable you to login and create your own user ID and password. If you were not issued an activation code, you may ask to sign up during your next office visit or complete and mail in a sign-up form.

Can I view a family member's health record in MyChart?

Yes you can. This is called Proxy access and allows a parent (or guardian) to log into their personal MyChart account, and then connect to information regarding their family member. A Proxy Access Form must be completed and submitted.

Is MyChart secure?

Access to information is controlled through secure access codes, personal ID's, and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account can only be accessed with that password. Keeping your password private is the most effective way to keep your health information private.

How do I request a copy of my complete medical record?

In accordance with HIPAA regulations, obtaining copies of your complete personal health records may be facilitated though our Health Information Management department.

How to send a message to a MMH provider?

In the portal, click 'Messaging' from the options on the left. Select 'Inbox'. Click 'Send a message'. Select provider to send request to.

How old do you have to be to be a dependent?

All dependents age 13-17 must be physically present at an appointment to provide authorization to allow parental access to their personal health information. It is easiest to obtain this at their first appointment. You will receive an email invitation to enroll them following the appointment.

What happens if you don't match your identity to a patient record?

If during the self-enrollment process your identity cannot be matched to a patient record, you will be notified that you do not qualify for self-enrollment. This can happen for a variety of reasons. Simply contact your provider office and request an invitation to join the patient portal.

Where to bring POA paperwork?

Simply bring in the paperwork which states you have POA or legal guardianship along with a picture id for yourself to the Health Information Management team at the MMH Main Campus, 321 Mitchell Ave, Batesville.

Can MMH connect to Apple Health?

For patients with an Apple device, MMH offers the ability to securely connect your health records to your Apple Health app. Follow these directions or print out our step-by-step instructions to learn more.
