You can contact UHS at 473-444-4671 or the main university number 473-444-4357 or 4483 and ask for clinic extension. Our email address is clinic@sgu.edu, our fax is 473-444-1956. UHS facilitates air evacuation on the Grenada campus if necessary.

What time does a nurse call?

Off Hours. Duty Nurse is on call 24 hours daily. A Physician is on call from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM , Monday through Friday and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. These providers are reached by calling the Resident Assistant or Duty Nurse.

Acute Care. All acute care cases are referred to the Grenada General Hospital or to a local private clinic. Occasionally, cases are referred to Trinidad, Barbados, or to the United States.
