Who We Are. The National Patient Advocate Foundation, the advocacy affiliate of the Patient Advocate Foundation, represents the patient voice by articulating the powerful stories of individuals and the collective needs of the community.

When will the PAF report be released?
This retrospective report, released in May of 2021, details the organizational achievements and impact for the 2020 calendar year via statistics documenting disease, issues, resolutions, geography, insurance status and demographics that contribute to the development of trends PAF sees and can respond to.

Patient Advocate Foundation - reimbursement for cancer treatment out-of-pocket expenses
In January or February of 2019 my wife was referred to them by the American Cancer Society for help with expenses for cancer treatment not covered by her insurance. This created false hope.
Patient Advocate Foundation - caseworker never contacted me
This is an organization that is supposed to provide advice for people who are sick. I was assigned a caseworker who I was never able to speak to. Each time I called her, I had to leave a message. It seems to me one of their problems is their case load is much too big. This went on for months in the summer of 2017.
