What is P2P in healthcare?

P2P, a division of Ageology, LLC, provides a web site and internet-based services offering a secure, private channel for healthcare consultation communications with your physician, personal medical information storage, on-line healthcare information, patient education, and related products, services and content (collectively the "P2P Services") through a patient portal - Power2Patient.

What is P2P service?

The P2P Services are only available to users that have an existing patient-healthcare provider relationship with a physician or other healthcare provider that is a subscriber to the P2P Services ("Provider"). We will notify your Provider that you have agreed to these Terms of Use.

What does P2P not represent?

P2P does not represent that an Intake Questionnaire is the appropriate course of treatment for your particular health care problem. 3.3 Prescriptions. Your Provider may use P2P services to order or prescribe medication to a pharmacy or pharmacy management system.

Can P2P be modified?

You must inform your Provider if you do not wish to be the subject of an order or requisition. P2P will not modify or alter any information contained in of an order or requisition and/or attachments and cannot verify its accuracy or completeness. You agree that P2P bear no responsibility with respect to the foregoing.

Can P2P alter prescriptions?

You must inform your Provider if you do not wish to be the subject of an order or prescription. Does P2P have responsibility for health supplements?

You agree that P2P bear no responsibility with respect to the foregoing. 3.5 Health Supplements. You or your Provider may use P2P services to order various health supplements (i.e., vitamins, hormones, imaging, etc.). This order may contain personally identifiable health information about you.

Is P2P covered by insurance?

Generally, these fees and/or copayments are not covered by health insurance or government programs and P2P is not responsible for determining the coverage status of any services provided. 3.9 Medical Disclaimers. P2P makes no warranty as to the content of any treatment response.

Availability

eClinicalWorks P2P will be available in Q4 2009. It is included free as a module in eEHX 3.0 for community deployments. The solution is also available as a standalone product and will be offered free to clients until the end of 2010.
