Prerequisite Courses for the College of Optometry

Admission requires completion of the prerequisites listed below or their equivalents from any accredited college or university. At least one year of this work should be completed at a baccalaureate degree-granting institution. Students are encouraged to complete a bachelor’s degree prior to matriculation in our program.

Library for Health Information

You can also visit us in person at the Library for Health Information on the 5th floor in Rhodes Hall to explore materials. We offer a consumer health librarian and volunteers to assist you in finding trustworthy information about health issues and concerns. This service is free and confidential.
