He is also an internationally recognized media correspondent for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Kahn earned his M.D. degree at Northwestern University and studied biomedical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained as an ophthalmologist at NYU and pursued a sub-speciality fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases at Tufts Medical Center / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Kahn has published over a dozen scientific papers and chapters on vision research and has presented ground-breaking studies at numerous national and international meetings.
