Onslow Memorial Hospital's cafeteria, now with a seating capacity of 150, is where visitors will find superior quality and a wide selection of menu items, featuring our hot entrée bar, 30-item salad bar, and our grill that serves popular short-order items. The cafeteria is open 24 hours a day (with brief closings for cleaning and preparation), 7 days a week.
Onslow United Transit System (OUTS) can provide people with non-emergency transportation services through our Demand Response or Dial-a-Ride program. New patients (your first visit) should arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to their appointment.
Because a health insurance policy is a contract between a patient and an insurance company, in no way can Onslow Memorial Hospital guarantee payment of an insurance claim. Should an insurance company deny or pay only a portion of an insurance claim, it is the responsibility of the patient to dispute the claim with the insurance company. Patients are expected to pay all unpaid insurance claims. If you have any additional questions regarding this policy, please contact the Patient Accounts Office at (910) 577-4703.
Our Food and Nutrition Services Department offers several special programs. For example, we provide one guest tray, free of charge, at each meal for a pediatric patient’s family member or visitor. In addition, it is our policy to offer guests complimentary coffee and/or ice tea.
Appointments can be anytime during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your first appointment to ensure a smooth transition to our practice. Please bring to your appointment the following:
If an appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, as well as no shows, will be charged a fee of $25.00.
