We switched to DrChrono in August 2016, and the switch could not have gone more smoothly. We were able to implement our system and completely customize it within 2 days. For us, the pros of joining DrChrono were that it is the most customizable, is easy to use, and works great with all Apple products.

Our practice has been on DrChrono for almost 5 years, and it was one of the best changes we have ever implemented. When the physician I work with told me that we were switching EHRs, I was hesitant and nervous about learning how to use a new software. To my surprise there was little to no learning curve.

Convenient when features work

I appreciate being able to check my appointments and medications as well as being able to send messages directly to providers. However, for the past three days, messages have stopped working. I spent a considerable amount of time composing a detailed message to update my provider and when I finished and clicked send the app's response was, 'Oops.

Needs improvement

Appointments need to have feature to add to calendars. iCal Google, calendar. Most critical update please!

At present, we are not offering the ability to create or modify appointments via OnPatient. To schedule an appointment, please call 847-577-7705.

The OnPatient Registration Process

Once you are invited to join your provider, you will have a limited time-frame (~48h) to register, so do not wait to open the email from “onpatient Invite” and follow the directions outlined in The OnPatient Registration Process Guide to create your account and connect to your provider.
