An MRI is a harmless, noninvasive test that uses a strong magnetic field and radiofrequency waves to produce images of the inside of your body. The scans are very safe, and there is no radiation exposure.

If you have a serious medical problem and are seen in the emergency room, the hospital emergency room doctors are well-trained and able to perform appropriate initial care. They will make a referral to Olympia Orthopaedic Associates’ office for follow-up care if you choose a specialist in our practice.

Prescriptions & Refills

New prescriptions and refills are only issued during our normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. You can request a prescription by calling (360) 709-6230. Olympia Orthopaedic Associates will not refill or prescribe pain medication after business hours. (This policy is dictated by state government policies.)
