When does SoonerCare start?

SoonerCare coverage for newly eligible expansion adults in the Healthy Adult Program begins July 1, 2021. The Healthy Adult Program is a fee-for-service payment model. Members will not be assigned a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and no SoonerCare referral is required at this time.

When will Medicaid expansion start in 2021?

This equates to an estimated annual income of $17,796 for an individual or $36,588 for a family of four. Members may begin to enroll in Medicaid expansion on June 1 , 2021. SoonerSelect - Oct. 1, 2021: SoonerSelect goes in effect on October 1.
