What happened to my previous patient portal?

Patient Portal Northside Family Practice is a member of a network of physician practices that utilizes Healow by eClinicalWorks, a secure, web based system that allows you to contact our doctor electronically. Healow by eClinicalWorks is available 24 hours a day for you to review your labs and conduct non-urgent communications with our office.

How to sign up for Northside?

There are two simple ways to sign up for your personal access. 1 Personal Invite - During your visit to Northside you provided us with your personal e-mail for your invitation.#N#Click on the link included in your e-mail from Northside or cut and paste to your web browser to activate your account. 2 Register - If you have not already provided us with your personal e-mail, you may access the MyOneChart site and register .

How to contact MyOneChart?

Once you access your MyOneChart account, if you do not see the health information you're looking for please call 404-531-5888 . Patients over 14 years of age who provided their registrar with an email address will automatically receive an email invitation to sign up for their MyOneChart account.

How long before prescription runs out?

Please call your pharmacy several days before your prescription is due to run out. If you have refills remaining on the current prescription, the pharmacy will fill it. If not, the pharmacy will call our office for the request. We will either authorize the appropriate refill, or we will call you. If your drug requires prior approval, or if you need a written prescription to send to a mail order pharmacy, please call our pharmacy 10 to 14 days before your current supply of medicine runs out, so there will be no interruption in your medication. We cannot provide prescription refills on weekends or after hours.

What to do if you have a life threatening emergency?

In the event of a life-threatening emergency or symptoms reasonably attributed to a serious condition, go immediately to the nearest emergency room, or call 911. In case of no threatening emergencies, patients will be treated as quickly as possible by a member of the medical staff.

Can you refill prescriptions on weekends?

We cannot provide prescription refills on weekends or after hours. Please note: Narcotics, Sedatives and pain medications, as well as routine medications, will not be refilled by the on-call physician on weekends or after hours. Please call during regular office hours for refills.
