NorthShore University HealthSystem maintains patient records in accordance with regulatory standards. These standards do not require that all patient records be permanently retained. Depending on the date and type of service, patient records and films may no longer be available for access and reproduction.

How long does northshoreconnect take to process medical records?

The normal turnaround time to receive records through NorthShoreConnect is 1-3 business days. You may download a medical record request form and email the completed form to releaseforms@northshore.org or fax it to 847-982-4499. The normal turnaround time to receive copies of records is 7-10 business days.
