Who sees you at Northeast Digestive Health Center?

You will be seen by one of Northeast Digestive Health Center’s board-certified gastroenterologists or a qualified Physician Assistant under the direction of a physician. As a courtesy, we will call you 24 hours prior to your appointment to remind you.

How much is a deposit for endoscopic surgery?

Patients who no-show for an endoscopic procedure appointment must pay a deposit of $50 prior to rescheduling the appointment. If the patient does not keep the rescheduled appointment, the deposit will be forfeited. A second no-show occurrence will prompt a $50 non-refundable charge to the patient.

Do you get a bill for anesthesia at Gateway Surgery Center?

If you are having ANESTHESIA during your procedure, you will receive a separate bill if your procedure is at Gateway Surgery Center. If your procedure is done at Northeast Digestive Health Center, you will receive a bill from us for Anesthesia.

Can you eat before an endoscopy appointment?

Except in urgent cases, endoscopic/invasive procedures will not be done the day of your office visit, so you may eat beforehand. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled office appointment. Patients who are late to their scheduled appointment may be required to reschedule to the next available opening.
