If the office is not following the usual procedure for new patient entry, and they are entering the patient into the Family File PRIOR to the patient actually coming into the office, then the First Visit Date will *NOT* match the appointment date or the date on the ledger, causing the New Patient counts on reports to not be as expected. This can be corrected by changing the First Visit Date manually to match the first appointment.
