Simply activate your MyHealth Patient Portal account using the activation code given to you by your provider’s office or click the MyHealth Patient Portal link on this website and request an activation code. Once your account is activated you can begin paying your bills online.
Please note that participation is PLAN specific and subject to change at any time. Slocum-Dickson Medical Group is able to provide an option for continuity of care for patients whose insurance is out of network but have seen a Slocum-Dickson provider within the last 3 years.

The Slocum-Dickson Medical Group Laboratory provides a full range of pathology clinical services. The laboratory provides a broad range of specialized tests to support the needs of primary care physicians and specialists. The laboratory accepts patients from a wide variety of referral sources, including physicians from outside of Slocum- Dickson Medical Group. The laboratory is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Hematology testing can also be used to monitor the effect of radiation or chemothrapy on a patient. Some of the hematology tests that are performed include; complete blood count (CBC), white blood count (WBC), and red blood count (RBC), as well as Hemoglobin, Platelets, and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR).
Coagulation , also known as Hemostasis, is the ability of the blood to form clots and dissolve clots. Our laboratorians run tests that are able to help the physician detect coagulation abnormalities and monitor the effect of medications used to treat them.
Our processing team prepares the blood and body fluid for testing. The blood and/or body fluid that has been collected is placed in a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample to separate the cells and other matter from the blood or fluid. A majority of the tests are performed only on the serum or plasma components of the blood.
The Ilion lab is a New York State approved patient service center that is open to the public.
