What is MyChart ID?

When you initially enroll in MyChart, you will have the opportunity to create a personal login name (called MyChart ID) and a password. Anyone with access to your login name and password would be able to access confidential medical information, read your messages, and send new messages as if that person were you.

Minor children ages 12 through 17 will be eligible to participate in the full spectrum of MyChart services with provider approval. Under State and Federal law, there are certain types of medical information that the parent or guardian of a minor patient age 12 or older may not view without consent of the minor patient.
