How to access medical records?

By setting up an account in our Patent Portal , you can conveniently and securely view selected health information from your stay at Northern Westchester Hospital at any time. And it’s a great way to truly take control of your health.

The FollowMyHealth patient portal is used with your Northwell account to give you more access to your personal medical records—from Northwell and other medical providers—and more control over your health care.

Medical records

As a patient, you have the right to access your medical records. Copies of medical records are available to patients and physicians with the proper authorization. Our Health Information Management Office can help—call (516) 256-6120.

Patient satisfaction

What is the number to call for NICU?

Support groups and programs for new and expectant parents include: Breastfeeding—free support group, online breastfeeding and prenatal classes through Baby University. Call (516) 562-4447 for breastfeeding helpline. NICU Sibling. Call (516) 562-3843 for more details.

What does it mean when you are discharged from a hospital?

Remember, being discharged doesn’t necessarily mean that you are completely well—it only means that you no longer need hospital services. If you disagree, you or your representative can appeal the doctor’s decision.
