Patient Information

MUSC Health has four convenient pharmacy locations, as well as a mail-order pharmacy, that can fill prescriptions for patients, employees and family members of employees.

Visitor Information

Patient dining services are provided in a restaurant-style format that allows you to order what you want, when you want (within your diet restrictions).

Medical Records

You can request your medical records through mail, by fax, or in person, after filling out the HIPAA-compliant Authorization Form.

Billing

At MUSC Health we try to make paying your bill as convenient as possible by allowing you to pay online, pay over the phone, pay by mail, or pay in person.

Insurance

Patients with dental insurance are expected to pay for services as they are rendered. Insurance claim forms are made available to the patient by one of the College of Dental Medicine cashiers. The patient is responsible for filing his/her own insurance benefits for self-reimbursement. Help is available upon request at the cashier checkout area.

Payment

A fee is charged for all patient services and the patient is expected to pay for the service as treatment is rendered. Since most of the care is provided by dental students who are carefully supervised by faculty, treatment usually progresses more slowly than in a private office.

How Do I Obtain My Medical Records?

The Health Information Services department at MUSC Health fulfills requests for information for medical records and billing for all inpatient, outpatient, and clinical services affiliated with MUSC Health including Institute of Psychiatry and Charleston Memorial Hospital visits.

Payment can be made through our automated payment service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us at 844-869-0152 to make a payment. Please have your statement ready.
