All exterior doors are locked at 9:00 p.m. Anyone entering or exiting the building after this time must do so through the emergency room entrance. Security officers will contact your charge nurse to verify that you can receive visitors, and issue a pass that the after-hours visitor is required to wear.
Visitor Hours. In general, hours are not restricted, except on certain floors, unless a physician or patient restricts visitation. Our hospital chaplains are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to provide spiritual support during your stay. We also have a chaplain on call 24/7. In the case of emergency or crisis, please notify your nurse who will have a chaplain paged.
You can send a message to your primary care provider if any follow up questions arise regarding a current health concern. You will also be able to receive letters when needed, including school excuses, work excuses or referral letters.
If the provider determines that you need to schedule an in-person visit, your card will not be charged. The $35 fee does not include the cost of other services such as laboratory testing, prescription medications, or x-rays, if any are needed.

Primary health care is provided by a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, during times as listed on our hours of operation. Health care is available at additional times through the Baptist Health Systems Clinic or through the Baptist Health Care Line telephone referral at 601.948.6262.
