When will I receive statements from Gritman Medical Center: Moscow family medicine clinic?

Moscow Family Medicine accepts a great variety of insurances. Check with our billing department to be sure. We do not bill international, so if you are a student or visitor from another country you will have to pay your bill and then send it to your insurance for reimbursement.

Downtown Clinic

Moscow Family Medicine has been located in our present clinic building for over 20 years. We are conveniently located in the heart of Moscow, diagonally across the street from Gritman.

U of I Vandal Health Clinic

Located at 831 Ash St., we offer a full range of primary and preventative care to all students and their dependents. Access is on the north side of the Student Health Building.

Requesting Moscow Family Medicine Medical Records

GMC Moscow Family Medicine’s Medical Records department is responsible for keeping complete, accurate information for each patient. To obtain copies of your records, please follow the instructions here or contact the Medical Records department at 208-882-2011.

I've been receiving my medical care from Moscow Family Medicine for a long time. What does this change mean for me?

How long does it take for a prescription to be refilled?

In order to refill your routine medications in a timely manner, please contact your pharmacy at least 4-5 days before you run out of medication. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription refill request to be processed by your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will contact us for additional refill authorization, if required.7

What is self pay insurance?

SELF-PAY accounts are patients without insurance coverage, patients covered by insurance plans in which the clinic does not participate. Self-pay patients are required to pay in full at time of service, unless prior payments arrangements have been made.

What to do if you have a life threatening emergency?

If a life-threatening emergency exists, you should call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. If the situation is not life-threatening, please call (208)883-7614 to page the medical provider on call. The provider on call will help you decide if you need to be seen, or what home measures can be safely tried first.

What is the phone number for LabCorp?

Any questions, LabCorp can be reached at 800-598-3345. AUTO/WORKMAN’s COMPENSATION CLAIM is the responsibility of the patient to provide our office with all the authorization forms and claim numbers. We will attempt to bill the insurance, if the claim is denied patient will be responsible for payment in full.

What happens if you don't cancel an appointment?

However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance your account will be subject to a thirty-five dollar ($35) fee; this fee will not be covered by your insurance company.

What happens if you don't carry insurance?

If you do not carry insurance payment is expected, in full, at the time of service. INSURANCE is a contract between you and your insurance company. We will bill your primary insurance company as a courtesy to you. In order to properly bill your insurance company we require that you disclose all insurance information.
