To keep a safe office, national workplace standards mandate that every person coming into the office must wear a mask and keep it on when in the public areas of the office, including waiting room and hallways. This standard exceeds what is required for other settings, but is government mandated for healthcare settings.
Children less than 2 years of age may wear a mask, but are not required to do so. Children 2 years of age and up need to wear a mask. The mask must cover nose and mouth, and must be closed around the face. Kerchiefs open at the bottom are not sufficient. Masks with one way valves to allow air out are not effective.
We aim to partner with women of all ages to achieve and maintain superior health. Our goal is to provide our patient partners with top quality care and expertise for their health. As a practice, we will be successful only when our patients have experienced a satisfactory visit with our medical staff.
UWH of North Carolina and Cary OBGYN recognize that as providers of women’s healthcare services we have a responsibility to provide excellent quality care for all of our patients. We also have a responsibility to condemn racism and discrimination in any form, including in systems such as law enforcement and health care.
