Labcorp does not offer home blood draws directly through their facilities, and they do not have any mobile units to send to collect samples. In situations where a patient may need a blood draw from their home, hospice, or other long-term living or care facility, a 3rd party is used. This is where we come in!
What should I do? In most cases, lab test results delivery times should not exceed two weeks. The most common reason for delay in receiving results is inaccurate or out-of-date personal information on record with your health care providers or in your Labcorp Patient™ portal personal profile.
Labcorp performs initial drug screening using immunoassay. An immunoassay is a test that uses antibodies to detect the presence of drugs and other substances in urine. The initial screening process does not measure the specific amount of drug present in urine samples.
Some test results will be ready the same day or a few days later, although others may not be available for a few weeks. You'll be told when your results will be ready and how you'll be given them.
Most routine blood test will take 72hrs....The following Blood tests will take longer:Diabetes blood test (Hba1c) – 1 week.Rheumatoid Arthritis blood test – 1 week.Coeliac blood test (endomyssial antibody) – 2 weeks.Vitamin D blood test – 3 weeks.

Yes, Quest can detect synthetic urine using specimen validity testing, a screening that determines if a specimen is human urine. All urine drug test specimens coming into Quest Diagnostics facilities include specimen validity testing as part of the drug testing process.

Blood tests can be used for many different things, including to check cholesterol and blood glucose levels. These help monitor your risk of heart and circulatory diseases and diabetes, or how your condition is being managed. Tests for different chemicals and proteins can indicate how your liver or kidneys are working.
That includes things like cholesterol tests, mammograms, or Pap smears. If results are normal, they can usually be delivered via a phone call, letter, or secure message. It is always okay to ask your healthcare provider about treatment guidelines or why a test or appointment is being recommended.
Ideally, start drinking more fluids the day before your blood draw, and continue to drink water before you have your blood drawn. Excessive amounts aren't necessary; most sources ecommend that an adult drink 64 ounces of water per day for good health, which is more than adequate for having your blood drawn.
Your results may be delayed if the sample is inadequate (not enough blood), contaminated, or if the blood cells were destroyed for some reason before reaching the lab.
Do healthcare providers call you if test results show bad news? They may. If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 4 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.
Drug test results typically take 24 to 48 hours, depending on the type of test being performed (e.g., urine, hair or DOT). If Concentra serves only as the collection site for your drug tests, then results will be reported to you directly from your selected lab/third-party administrator, and result times may vary.
Reading Your Test Results and Next Steps: If POSITIVE, your LabCorp results will display as 'Detected Abnormal' and it is imperative that you isolate for a period of 15 days from your tested date to avoid spreading the virus to others.
You probably won't hear from the company about the drugs test result if you have passed it, but if you fail, you can expect to hear from a Medical Review Officer (MRO). The MRO might communicate through the company who paid for the test or they might phone you directly.
Labcorp makes managing your health more convenient by letting you purchase the same lab tests trusted by doctors, online.
