It contains your Username, which you will need to log in to the Caregiver registry (OneStop Portal), as well as your MMCC Caregiver ID Number. Designate a registered patient. Once your application has been approved, the patient must log into their account and designate you as a caregiver in the Patient registry (OneStop Portal).
Visit the MMCC registry (OneStop Portal) and click Create Account under the Patients heading. Verify your email address. As soon as you have completed and submitted an online application form, a verification email will be sent to the email address you provided on your application.

A registered patient is permitted to identify a maximum of two individuals, aged 21 years or older, to serve as caregivers. Caregivers are required to register with and purchase ID cards from the Commission.
Any patient that is a Maryland resident over the age of 18 whose provider recommends medical cannabis as a treatment option for a qualifying medical condition. There are some non-resident options.
The MMCC registration is hosted on the Maryland One Stop Portal. This is the place where you go to register with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
In general, a chronic medical condition that include severe or chronic pain may be approved for medical cannabis. Also, conditions such as post traumatic stress disorder, and severe nausea may qualify.
It costs $50 to register with the MMCC. When you register, you will be prompted to pay as part of the process. You can log on to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission website and follow the instructions and pay the $50 fee.
