Scheduling an appointment (through your child’s COPC pediatrician) with our Pediatric Support Center allows your child to be seen by one of our outstanding pediatricians after typical office hours and on weekends. Dr. Vyas has been a pediatrician in Gainesville for over 5 years now. She opened up her new practice – Milestones Pediatrics in July 2018 with a mission to provide excellent, family centered pediatric care.

Routine Well Exams

Routine wellness visits are scheduled at regular intervals. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends this schedule for routine well-care visits:

Sick or Problem visits

Sick visits can typically be made the day the need arises. We offer rapid Flu, Strep, RSV, and Covid testing. We run in office urinalysis as well other point of care testing. Some problems require more extensive evaluation than others, so when making an appointment please briefly explain the nature of the problem to the receptionist.

Medical Ear Piercing

We use Blomdahl medical grade ear piercing for children over the age of 6 months. This piercing system is only available to medical professionals and is safely designed to avoid the spread of infection and exposure to nickel during the piercing process. The sterile method guarantees that the piercing is hygienic and safe.
