The login.gov pilot will be limited to the first 3,000 (3K) DS Logon users and to three (3) DS Logon partners only - DMDC's milConnect, Department of Veteran Affairs' (VA) eBenefits, and Defense Health Agency's (DHA) MHS Genesis Patient Portal.
In preparation for the new MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, log in to milConnect and create your DS Logon. Beneficiaries with an existing DS Logon should upgrade their account to Premium Access. A link to the “My Access Center” is available on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal landing page to direct patients on how to get their DS Logon credentials.

In order to be added to DEERS and to receive an ID card, family members should go to the nearest identification (ID) facility at a military base to be added to DEERS and obtain a military ID card. To find the nearest military ID card issuing facility, please visit the ID Card Office Locator.
Locate your 10-digit DoD ID Number. This number can usually be found on the back of your Common Access Card. If it's not listed there, log into DoD ID Card Office Online [osd.mil] and locate it under the "My Profile" section. Save your DoD ID Number to your profiles.
