Dr. Macferran was born in Hartford, Connecticut. His family moved to Texas in time for him to graduate from high school in Houston and learn the importance of being a Texan. He became interested in a career in pediatrics while volunteering at a housing project as a teenager.
Dr. Sager is a long way from home. He was born and raised in Montana and most of his family still remains there. He married Cherie from New Mexico and she said there is no way I can live in Montana! They lived for some time in Albuquerque and Hobbs New Mexico before looking into what Texas has to offer.
