Mia Bella Pediatrics was founded in 2006 by Dr. Suzy McNulty and Dr. Jennifer Stahl, and was modeled after an "old-fashioned" solo practice. Initially, the two doctors equally shared office hours, newborn rounding, and call, which allowed them to be fully committed to their patients as well as their own families. In 2016, Dr. Stahl's family decided to relocate to Portland, OR. Picking up where Dr. Stahl left off, Dr. Colleen Kraft joined the practice in 2017 and Dr. Dina Alshunnaq in 2020.#N#Mia Bella embraces FAMILY-CENTERED CARE, where all of our "Pediatrician-Moms" understand the trials and tribulations of both the stay-at-home mom as well as the working mom. Mia Bella physicians understand the vital role that families play in ensuring the health and well-being of children and family members of all ages. We respect each child and family’s innate strengths and view the health care experience as an opportunity to build on these strengths and support families in their care giving and decision-making roles. Family-centered approaches has been shown to lead to better health outcomes and wiser allocation of resources as well as greater patient and family satisfaction.#N#In addition, Mia Bella also embraces the concept of INCLUSIVE CARE, a medical model which encompasses IN HOUSE emotional, social, cognitive, physical, developmental and nutritional support as integral components of health care, WITHOUT having to refer to outside providers or ancillary services.
